Why We Gather

Why We Gather

January 22, 2017 | Ben Tissell

Passage: Acts 2:42-47

1.  On Sunday we asked the question, "Why do we gather?" and discussed the theology of the local church. But, equally important is to ask the question, "Why do I gather?" What brings you to church on any given Sunday? What draws you to or repels you from the fellowship of other believers.

2.  Why do you think Jesus commanded us to live out our faith together, rather than just on our own. Why is it important for us to be Christians in community?

3.  Why do you give money to your local church gathering? Why is it important? Why is it often difficult to cultivate a practice of giving?

4.  On Sunday we talked about the phrase "Life Together". What does living life together as Christians look like? How can we practice living our life of faith together?
