  1. As we see in the story of Mary, and the larger story of the Israelites, God has a history of choosing people for his plan that seem “random” or “unqualified.” In what ways has God chosen you to accomplish his purposes?

  2. What implications does this have for the way we view ourselves in God’s plan? Does it affect how we view other “random” and “unqualified” people?
