Take a journey back to Dickensian England in this imaginative retelling of Dickens’ classic tale! Told from the perspective of Bob Cratchit, this wildly fun production speaks to the Scrooge in each of us, inspiring us to spread joy to those all around. A small group of local actors, both amateur and professional, play over 30 characters telling the beloved holiday tale with imagination, playfulness, poignancy, and music. Adapted and directed by Ben Tissell.

Outer East Arthouse is committed to reaching into our community and shining light where it is needed. This year, they are partnering with The Family Room to collect donations of party supplies for kids in foster care. This wonderful organization works faithfully to support both children and parents who are making the effort to reunite. They offer an inviting space, activities, assistance, and encouragement to help families gain the skills and tools they need to be successful during the reunification process. Something as simple as celebrating a milestone, such as a birthday, with their parents can be incredibly impactful for a young one who has no control over their current living arrangements. In order to inspire as many happy smiles as possible, OEA will be collecting party supplies (streamers, deflated balloons, colorful plates, napkins, plasticware, and other kid-friendly decorations) at the box-office during each showing of "A Cratchit Christmas." Please consider making a contribution to this wonderful organization. Along with your generous donations, OEA will be donating all proceeds from the show.
